Going Back In Time New Regulations Effective from 12th May 2021

On the 12th May 2021, the Strata Schemes Management Amendment (Covid-19) Regulations 2021 and the Community Land Management Amendment (Covid-19) Regulation 2021 came back into effect and rolled back some of the changes made on the 5th June 2020. This will mean that the holding of Committee Meetings and General Meetings for both Strata Schemes (Owners Corporations) and Community Associations will revert back to; In Person Meetings; unless a motion has been resolved or a by-law adopted that allows voting via other means. There are transitional provisions that have been put in place for any meeting called prior to 12th May 2021.
